Hier ein unterhaltsames Exemplar vom Brave New Spirits-Team und seiner Cask Noir-Serie: Old Rhosdhu 28 Year Old Bonnie Banks and the Call of the Past. Es wurde in der Brennerei Loch Lomond destilliert und sein Name geht auf Old Rhosdhu Malz zurück, das dort bis etwa zum Jahr 2000 hergestellt wurde. Es stammt aus einem ehemaligen Bourbon-Hogshead und wurde in seiner natürlichen Fassstärke und Farbe abgefüllt.

Verkostungsnotiz:

Nase: Es hat eine wirklich herzhafte Qualität mit einer mentholartigen Note, Bleistiftspänen und nasser Farbe, aufgehellt mit Orangenschale, Heu und einem Spritzer Limettensaft.

Gaumen: Viel malziger als die Nase, mit knusprigen Müsli-, Cornflakes- und Reisnoten, zusammen mit Milchschokolade und knackigen frischen Äpfeln.

Beenden: Mittellang mit mehr Apfel- und Bleistiftspänen.
