William Larue Weller Single Barrel 48.5% ABV

A whiskey that does what is says on the tin – a single barrel bottling from Buffalo Trace’s wheated bourbon, William Larue Weller. No blending at all here, just the celebrated, wheat-forward expression with its signature smoothness. 

Nose: Sweet vanilla and sugary notes, some dark chocolate and raisin, polished wood and cigar box, creamy honey and hard toffee.

Palate: Some deliciously smooth notes on the front of the palate, cinnamon and rich red forest fruity notes flood the side and top of the palate with flavour. Cracked black pepper with a rich sweet berries and cream note, some chocolate and dried fruits with some caramelised orange peel. 

Finish: Long and bold with more cigar box and spices.
